LOVE 21 FOUNDATION
Donate to support programs that empower the Down syndrome, autistic, and neurodiverse community to reach their full potential.
Currently, Love 21 hosts around three hours of yoga sessions per week for caregivers, as well as two hours of yoga/body movement classes for the entire family. Different types of yoga are offered to the community, starting with the introductory classes to the core strengthening yoga sessions designed to train and build muscles.
As shared by one parent, who actively participates in Love 21 Foundation’s yoga and parental programmes, the programmes have a dual purpose and help her to also “get to know and talk to other parents to share tips and advice on parenting on top of participating in the classes“.
CANCER
HONG KONG CANCER FUND
Donate to support cancer patients and survivors who use exercise and yoga to potentially benefit from reduced levels of fatigue, improved quality of life, physical function, and maintaining a healthy weight. It can help them to tolerate treatment, endure side effects, reduce anxiety and increase mental fortitude.
One attendee shared the following message: “Thank you to Teacher Jessica for her professional guidance and to Cancer Fund for arranging the programme! Yoga courses have an all-round impact on the growth and development of body, mind and spirit. In addition to helping me build a strong body, a calm mind, connected spirituality and self-awareness; through continuous practice, I can experience more balance, harmony and inner joy in my life. I am grateful to be able to attend this programme.“
